American Airlines is leading the charge with two notable routes launching on October 26. The airline is introducing a daily service from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Brisbane (BNE), utilizing the Boeing 787-9, marking its longest nonstop route at over 8,300 miles. Additionally, American is resuming daily flights between DFW and Rio de Janeiro (GIG), served by Boeing 787-8 aircraft, re-establishing a vital connection between the U.S. and Brazil.

Delta Air Lines Connects Orlando and London

Delta Air Lines is joining the surge with a new seasonal route connecting Orlando (MCO) to London Heathrow (LHR). The service, starting on October 27, will operate four times a week with the advanced Airbus A330-900neo. This route enhances Delta’s transatlantic offerings, catering to the growing demand for travel between the U.S. and the U.K.

Air Canada Expands into India

Air Canada is strengthening its presence in the Indian market with a new daily flight between London Heathrow (LHR) and Delhi (DEL), launching on October 27. The airline will utilize the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for this route, which will also connect to transatlantic services from Calgary and Vancouver, reinforcing the airline’s connectivity between North America and India.

AirAsia Broadens Reach in Southeast Asia

AirAsia is making waves with several new routes this month, including a direct service from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Amritsar (ATQ) starting on October 2. The route will be served by the Airbus A321neo four times a week, providing another key connection between Southeast Asia and India.

Meanwhile, Indonesia AirAsia will launch a daily flight between Jakarta (CGK) and Hong Kong (HKG) on October 8, further expanding its regional reach in Asia.

British Airways Revives Long-Haul Flights to Bangkok

British Airways is reviving its long-haul service between London Gatwick (LGW) and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK), set to begin on October 28. The airline will operate the route three times per week with Boeing 777 aircraft, offering a convenient connection for travelers between Europe and Thailand.
